Mario Deathmatch is a multiplaying-link-game for the ti-83. It uses the black link cable to
transmit data like x-coordinates. You can move Mario free around in an arena. You see at the same
time your opponent on the screen. The purpose of the game is to shoot each other untill the other
has nomore lives left. This is not a Bta version anymore but all your feedback is still very
	appriciated.

	Story:

Mario and Luigi are both in love with the wonderful princess. So they want to fight for her in
six different arenas. The winner will marry the princess.

	Starting a game:

To start a game be very sure that both calculators has started ion. Otherwise the first calc will
	return to ion.
If both calcs has reached ion, just start Mariodm. The first calc will go into the waiting-mode,
untill the other calc has reached this point. Now calc number one will go to the setupscreen.
you can choose three different gamestyles. Normal, Turbo and Hardcore. Just select the gamestyle
and press 2nd. The game starts automaticly. You can also select a level-pack, but there is only
	one pack availeble now.

	In the game:

Player one (the one who logged on first) will be Mario and starts in the left bottom of the screen
Player two will be Luigi and starts in the right bottom of the screen.

There are four symbols on the top of the screen.

	- a Skull	stands for frags

This is the number of times you killed your opponent.

	- a Bullet	stands for bullets

The Bullet travels with the speed of sound so be prepared.

	- a turtle	stands for turtles

This is a friendly turtle. He won't do you any harm, but is deadly to your opponent.

	- a heart	stands for lives

The number of lives you got left.

The questions can be hit in the same way as in other mario-games. You will get something out
of it when the question is light. It turns black and reloads itself after 10 secs.
You can get an extra live, extra bullets or extra turtles. Chance for bullets is twice as big as for
	turtles or lives.

	Controls:

Left and right are for movements.
	2nd is Jump
	Alpha is shoot
	X,t,n,0 realeases a turtle
	Mode is quit
press del to restore a laggy connection

Mario Deathmatch has a very stable Lagg free connection but if the connection might get lost try
pressing Del to restore the connection.

After every match you will see a winner screen and a loser screen. Press 2nd to continue. You will
go to the connecting-screen until the other player has reached this point too, now the game
	continues with a new level.

	Statisticscreen:

It counts the number of matches won.
It counts the number of kills. You can also kill youself.

Press 2nd again to continue. you will reach the waiting screen now for another match. If you don't
want to play another match just press mode.

	Disclaimer:

It might be possible that you got stuck in a endless loop. Just try pressing del and very quick
	after it mode to quit.
I advice you to make backup first. If your calculator crash pull all batteries out, small backup
	included and press on.
I'm not responsible for anything. Overall this is freeware. Just have fun. For everybody interested
in the link-part, take a look into my link routine at ticalc.org.

	Improvements since bta version:

	- More levels thanx to tilemapping
	- Turtles instead of not working bombs
	- More questions
	- Faster framerate (25-40 fps)
	- Totally new game-engine
	- Better link-connection
	- No byte counter anymore

	Things to do:

	- External files for levelpacks and spritepacks (so you can make your own levels and textures)
	- On-the-calc leveleditor and sprite-editor
	- tell me what else

Special thanks to everyone who gave me feedback on the bta release.
